The world's nu jazz and chill out radio station. SmoothLounge.com is part of the Smooth Global Living family, streaming handcrafted lounge and downtempo jazz 24/7 from California to listeners worldwide.
📻 History: SmoothLounge.com Radio launched in 2005 as the nu jazz and chill out sister station of SmoothJazz.com, the internet jazz station founded by California radio and design veterans Sandy Shore and Donna Phillips.
They acquired the domain in 1995 after Monterey's contemporary jazz FM station changed formats, and SmoothJazz.com has been broadcasting globally since 2000.
Both stations are human-programmed 24/7 from the Monterey Bay coast of California, offering a relaxed blend of lounge, chill out and downtempo jazz. They are part of the Smooth Global Living lifestyle brand, which also includes a jazz travel portal and a weekly Top 50 airplay chart.
